Hey, I’m Alex. I enjoy figuring out what would be useful to people and how to build it. I love combining great design, new technology and my technical background to turn ideas into things people enjoy using.

So far, I’ve helped shape a mix of consumer products, from financial trading and sports betting to launching a crypto trading app. Before product, I was a quantitative analyst building software, worked as a financial trader and spent four years studying for a master’s in automotive engineering.

I love working on ambiguous problems, understanding the biases and idiosyncrasies of people, simplifying complexity and making the design and technical tradeoffs needed to create something that matters.

When I’m not doing that, I’m usually chasing an endorphin hit, trying new food, finding new music and films, building something, or picking up a new hobby. Right now, I’m learning Spanish and piano, trying to make genuinely good coffee and improve my pretty poor golf handicap.
